The seminal Sonata for Flute, Viola, and Harp of French Impressionist master Claude Debussy anchors our opening program featuring this colorful, supple, and atmospheric combination of instruments. Also featured is Takemitsu’s “And then I knew ’twas wind”- a pristine, sensual riff on Debussy’s values.
