An established chamber and orchestral musician, violinist Dina Kostic is a member of the Altlantic Classical Orchestra and also performs with various groups throughout the state of Florida, including the Palm Beach Opera, Boca Symphonia, the Naples Philharmonic and Sarasota Orchestra. She is Assistant Concertmaster of the Grammy nominated Seraphic Fire and Firebird Chamber Orchestra. Ms. Kostic has held positions with the Florida Philharmonic, the New World Symphony under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago under Daniel Barenboim. She moved to the United States at the age of fifteen, having received a full scholarship to study at Southern Methodist University and went on to earn a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University. Ms. Kostic has maintained a violin studio and ensemble classes at Barry University in Miami Shores since 2003, along with a private studio. As chamber musician, she performs with several ensembles, primarily with Chamber Music Palm Beach, which records on the Klavier Label. She is a native of Belgrade, Serbia.
