Overview

The ACO Piano Trio explores ways in which popular and folk traditions inform classical music. Paul Schoenfield’s sparkling ‘Café Music’ anchors the program with its pan-stylistic embrace of a kaleidoscope of influences from classical masters and Viennese waltzes to Jewish folk song, jazz, and Broadway. Debussy’s beloved piano trio opens this lovely and entertaining program.
