"Choose Your Destiny": Atlantic Classical Orchestra 3rd Masterworks Series

For our third Masterworks, we are counting on you to cast your ballot! We have curated a selection of three masterpieces to choose from: Beethoven’s Pastoral symphony, with its depiction of 19th Century rural life—complete with a picnic, a drunk uncle, and a thunderstorm; Brahms’s First Symphony—a drama-filled fusion of classical form and romantic ardor; and Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony—an impassioned arc that moves from angst to blazing triumph. Concertmaster Leonid Sigal will join us as soloist for a performance of Vieuxtemps’s 5th Violin Concerto—a rarely performed masterpiece by a 19th Century Belgian virtuoso.
